How many people can join me in the Grinch’s Grotto?
To comply with current venue capacity restrictions and to maximize social distancing efforts, one ticket allows for up to 5 people per visit.
Can I sit on the Grinch’s lap, shake hands, etc.?
The Grinch can be quite grumpy, especially during the holidays! During your visit, we kindly request all guests refrain from physical contact with the Grinch and maintain an appropriate distance from him at all times – you never know what tricks he may have up his sleeve!
How early should I arrive for my Grinch’s Grotto reservation? What if I’m running late?
We kindly request you and your party plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your reserved timeslot. Early or late arrivals may not be granted admittance pending venue capacity at the time of arrival. Be sure to account for time to park and walk through the mall!

What are your hours of operation?
How do I redeem my Grinch’s Grotto ticket?
You may bring your printed or digital ticket to The Grinch’s Grotto at your scheduled time slot. Once arrived, your ticket will be scanned using our contactless scanning system.
Will you have other items or gifts available for purchase?
Yes! We will have many Grinch and Dr. Seuss items, including exclusive 2020 Grinch merchandise, available for purchase at each of our locations. Supplies may vary. Please note that all retail transactions will be cashless. Credit or Debit card transactions only.
Can I take my own photos in the Grinch’s Grotto?
Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos outside of the Grotto! Unfortunately, once inside, the Grinch gets quite grumpy unless photos are taken by his trained photographer.
Can I exchange my ticket?
Ticket sales are final, so please make sure you can make your chosen date and time.
How much are photo packages at the Grinch’s Grotto? What is included in the photo packages?
All tickets (for up to 5 people in party) include 2 free gifts, a 6”x8” photo, access to digital photos, and a $25 Shutterstock credit. Other additional photo packages ranging from 24.99 to 49.99 are available as an upcharge.
Can I look through my photo’s after my visit?
Yes, there will be an area after your experience to view and purchase additional photos, and you will also get a link. If you do not receive the link shortly after your experience, please email Cherry Hill support at email@example.com.
Where is the Grinch's Grotto located?
The Grinch’s Grotto has locations in 10 different major cities this holiday season, which you can see in the Locations section of our home page. The look and location of each grotto is unique to each city’s needs, space, and requirements. In some instances, the Grotto is located in outdoor or mall common areas, and in others the Grotto is located inside inline storefronts – all are built to align with required COVID-19 safety guidelines.
How are you ensuring social distancing at the Grinch’s Grotto?
All tickets for the Grinch’s Grotto are timed entry, and time slots are restricted to the maximum capacity of each venue based on local governance, so please make every effort to arrive as close to your ticketed time as possible. Late arrivals may lose their spot. Floor markers will be placed throughout each venue to indicate 6ft of separation between each group within the Grotto, queuing area, and retail check-out.
Do I have to wear PPE during my visit?
Yes, all guests to the Grinch’s Grotto are required to wear a mask. As we adhere to all venue-specific PPE guidelines, please refer to the policies of the hosting venue for specific policies.
What other health and safety measures are being taken?
In addition to social distancing and following regulations regarding masks and other PPE, we have a set of standard operating practices on a location by location basis, which includes regularing desanitizing surfaces and more. The healthy and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us.
